During the school holidays from Christmas through the new year many films were being released, also many more that would be attracting children and parents. This is because children would not be in school therefore film producers would have been looking to release their films during the holidays and some new films were released just before the school holidays ready for people to start watching during the holidays. These new films include; Star Wars; The Force Awakens, The Peanuts Movie, Daddy's home and Joy. A lot of the films released would have had a young target audience and some for very small children, however some would be a family movie like Star Wars which would have been released during the school holidays.
